The Nuraghe Piscu stands on a modest plateau clearly visible from the road, between Senorbì and Suelli. This is a compound created in carefully worked blocks of marl-limestone and arranged in even rows.
The main tower stands more than 9 metres high and is surrounded by a stronghold of four towers. Around the stronghold is a 5-tower defence wall which protects the residential area.
The main tower can be accessed through a delightful pointed-arch shaped architrave entrance and along a corridor you come to a large circular chamber. Internally you can admire the false cupola (tholos) ceiling, almost fully intact.
From the courtyard you can access the secondary towers, they too with circular chambers with niches and embrasures. Part of a village of huts was also identified and uncovered around the Nuraghe.
Take the trunk road SS128 on leaving the town of Suelli in the direction of Mandas to reach the site: the Nuraghe is clearly visible on your right.
