Nuraghe Accas, Cossoine

The Nuraghe Accas stands on a low plateau in the municipality of Cossoine.

Of the central tower, still partially underground, 13 rows have survived and stand at a height of 6.25 m. The entrance has a solid architrave above it and currently stands at a height of 0.95 m and a width of 1.00 m, again due to the fact that is underground.
Access to the stairway is in the corridor and, on the right, is a niche. There are three niches in the 6-metre high, circular-shaped room.

Traces of an imposing fortress are also clearly visible in the area, of which, on the eastern side, a vast stretch of curtain wall is visible and the connection to one of the towers. The wall was built with medium to large sized blocks of trachyte.
