Menhir Monte Corru Tundu, Villa Sant'Antonio

This huge monolith in trachyte tuft stands in the centre of a hillside rich in Neolithic findings.
While presenting a truncation on the upper part, with its 5.75 metres of remaining height, it is one of the largest menhirs in Sardinia.
The well-built and percussion finish has a round facade and a clearing where three circular cupels are visible.

Monte Corru Tunda can be reached from the outskirts of the town along via Felice Cau. Continue for 1.6 km along the road which then becomes white. At the end of the road, just before the gate, take the minor road on the right which can still be travelled along for a few metres. Continue on foot along the ancient road dug out of the rocky crop surface, where the grooves from the passage of carts are still visible.
