Menhir Sa Pedra 'e Taleri, Noragugume

Foto di Andrea Mura

The menhir of Giorgia Rajosa, o Sa Pedra ‘e Taleri, stands in the district of Taleri, isolated in the centre of a vast flat area of land.

It reaches an imposing height of 4.30 m. It has no decorations but has a percussion finishing on both of its larger sides. The section at the base is elliptical while the side profiles are curvy. The two large faces have a flat surface and the other a concave one.

The menhir can be reached from Noragugume along via Vergine d’Itra for 84 metres. Turn left here onto the country road, SP33 and continue on for 1.3 kilometres. Turn right and continue along SP33 for 1.5 kilometres. Turn right again and continue straight on for 1.5 kilometres until you reach your destination.
