The “Conchedda de Funtana Pùdida”, better known as the ram tomb due to the presence of a symbol carved into the wall, interpreted as a ram protome, can be found immersed in a pleasant green landscape in Perfugas.
The grave, carved into a rocky trachyte crop, is one of the most important examples of a mixture of domus de janas type hypogeum and megalithism. Indeed, it has a hypogeum part, made up of four cells, and one megalithic one with a short Dolmen corridor. Three orthostates have survived on the sides of the entrance as well as a slab flooring.
An archaeological dig in 1979 revealed an initial use of the tomb during the Ozieri phase. The discovery of material belonging to the ancient Bronze age and the late-ancient age can be attributed to periods of re-use.
