Dolmen Montiju Coronas, Ozieri

The monument features a rectangular room cordoned off by five orthostates (lithic slabs secured to the ground) and covered with a large stone slab. The dolmen was possibly part of a more extensive necropolis. Not far from the monument are two rows of stones which were probably part of an allée couverte tomb.

A number of ceramic fragments were uncovered not far from the monument, including lithic pieces and ceramic fragments, such as tripods. The material belonged to a neo-Eneolithic horizon timeline.

Coming from Ozieri, take the SS 132 and turn right at the fork for Tula. Then take the SP 103. Continue for 3.5 km. In correspondence with a small open space with a gate on the right, leave the car, go through the gate and continue for about 350 m.
