Domus de janas di Sas Concas, Oniferi

The hypogeum complex stands on a red trachyte outcrop, close to some emerging walls, and includes 20 graves.

The Sas Concas tombs have a wide and articulated layout, as well as architectural and symbolic elements. Some of the tombs are particularly interesting: the Tomba dell’Emiciclo and the Tomba Nuova Ovest, with wall and ceiling engravings, and numerous upturned anthropomorphic petroglyphs and cupels.

The site can be found just after the turn on the SS 131 towards Oniferi. The necropolis is on the right, on privately owned land.
