At the top of the giara, near the edge of the plateau, close to a spring and covered in holm oak, stands the Nuraghe known as Tuturuddu.
The Nuraghe is complex and built with large, roughly cut basalt blocks.
It can be accessed from the panoramic road which leads to the giara as far as the top of the plateau where you can park your car. Once you’ve passed the church and the Nuraghe and Santa Luisa village area, carry on for another 1,500 m following the signs.
