The archaeological site can be found in the district of Senorbì, close to the hamlet of Sisini.
The Nuraghe is made up of finely processed blocks of evenly arranged rows of local marl. The monument’s layout is unique: two straight stretches are linked to the tower extending for about ten metres, they too created with isodomic rows. The two straight stretches of wall are connected to the tower thanks to the specifically shaped ashlars which follow the structure’s planimetric outline. This unusual planimetric arrangement led some experts in the past to compare the building to sacred wells. Access to the tower’s chamber, originally tholos vaulted, is currently inaccessible as it is completely covered by a vast amount of crumbled debris.
After taking the Vico II Stella, the archaeological site can be accessed through a gap in the fencing.
