Nuraghe Sellersu

The Nuraghe Sellersu dominates the Bay of Cea on the eastern edge of the Tecco plateau.

It was built using basalt blocks and has a main tower and two side towers. The monument also had a defence wall. The building can be accessed via the north-east tower through an entrance with architrave. There are two corridors inside the monument, perpendicular to one another, one of which provided access to the stairway to reach the central tower. The remains of an extensive village can be spotted near the Nuraghe.

Take via del Muflone, in front of the sea until you come to a turn in the road where there is a sign indicating the Nuraghe. Walk up this road as far as the Nuraghe.
