Heading north from the centre of Pabillonis for around 6 km, you will come to the Nuraghe Santu Sciori (or San Lussorio). The imposing polyfoil structure is perceivable on the ground and clearly decipherable from the main tower’s circle. In the upper part of the Nuragic monument, in the second half of the XX century, a small rural church was built. For popular devotion, this replaced the medieval church, whose remains stand out on the flatland below at around 100 m to the west. The building of this older place of worship had also been constructed on top of the Nuraghe, on top of one of the defence wall towers. An interesting country festival is held each year at the site.
