Nuraghe sa domu' e s'Orku, Domusnovas

The compound sits on the slopes of Monte Mannu.

It was built in different stages, starting with the tholos central tower, constructed using large boulders of limestone, and to which a three-foil stronghold and a polygonal defence wall with five towers were then added.

A project is currently underway to improve it and make it accessible to the public with guided tours.

On the outskirts of Domusnovas, turn right and follow the signs for AIAS San Giovanni. 500 metres from the road, the Nuragic compound is clearly visible.
