The Ola Nuraghe stands on a hillside, about 3 km from the town of Oniferi.
It is a single-tower Nuraghe, 10.70 m of which is still visible.
The unusual feature of this monument is the use of different building material. Outside, the first ten rows, starting from the base, have been formed by large blocks of granite, while well-built trachyte ashlars were used on the upper part as cladding.
A paved corridor starts from the entrance off of which a fairly well-preserved staircase opens out, ending on the floor above. Carrying on, you can access the central chamber with tholos which has been very well preserved.
A village with circular huts extended around the Nuraghe.
The site is easy to reach and clearly signed. Follow the SS 128 towards Oniferi-Macomer.
