It stands on a small high ground in a wood of centuries-old holm oak in the forestry area of Montes. In a privileged position dominating the western entrance to the Gola di Gorroppu.
It is a Nuraghe compound, built using medium sized, accurately squared limestone blocks. The central tower is well preserved, with the tholos roof intact and the straight stronghold on the western side. Highly attractive from an architectural point of view.
A popular destination for hikers thanks to the beauty of the monument and naturalistic context, though unfortunately it is not easy to reach; in fact, you need to pass through the forest to get to it.
