The Nuraghe Longu sits in the hamlet of Marina di Tertenìa, in Su Concali. From the Nuraghe, as is the case with the Aleri Nuraghe (visible from Longu), you can admire the magnificent coastal panorama.
It is a Nuraghe compound with an unusual layout. The main tower is undoubtedly the best preserved and the room on the ground floor still has its tholos roof intact. As well as the stronghold, the Nuraghe people also built some terracing. Large granite blocks were used to build the structure.
Follow the road which coming from Tertenia crosses Marina di Tertenia. Turn right at the signpost indicating Su Concali and Nuraghe Longu. Continue as far as via Nuragi Longu, a stretch of which can be done by car. Leave the car in the unpaved open space and follow the path on your right, heading into the Mediterranean shrub leading to the Nuraghe.
