Nuraghe Conca Sa Cresia, Siddi

The Nuraghe Conca sa Cresia can be found in the Giara di Siddi, on the small basalt plateau of “Su Pranu”,

It is a complex structure consisting of a series of additions made in different eras. In particular, the oldest centre consisted of a corridor nuraghe with flat roof, while the tholos was added at a later date. Like other monuments in the Giara di Siddi, it has medium-sized blocks in the lower part which increase in size at the top.

It is an easily accessible site: take the trunk road SS 44 from Siddi towards Gonnostramatza. Turn right following the sign for the “Sa domu e s’orcu” Tomb of the Giants. Follow the cemented road for around 3 km which crosses the giara and you’ll come to the site.
