Nulvi stands about 500 m up the slopes of Monte San Lorenzo, a plateau at the heart of Anglona. It is a place with an important past which boasts the highest concentration of Nuraghi in Sardinia. There are at least 80, including the Nuraghe Alvu, also known as “the white Nuraghe”.

Built using square blocks of limestone, whose colour gives it its name, it is a complex structure with a central unit closed in by four towers. Originally, the monument was in the centre of a village, as is clear from the remains of numerous hut foundations around it.
