The findings on display at the Dorgali Archaeological Museum tell the archaeological story of the area from Neolithic times right up to the modern era.
The material on display mainly comes from the contribution made by speleology and surface digs across the whole area. An additional contribution comes from private collections and the fundamental archaeological digs at Serra Orrios, Nuraghe Mannu and Tiscali.
The Museum’s exhibition is arranged into three rooms following a chronological order, placing particular emphasis on the findings made at accessible sites (Grotta del Bue Marino, Villaggio di Serra Orrios, Tomba di Giganti di S’Ena ‘e Thomes, Villaggio di Nuraghe Mannu, Grotta di Ispinigoli and Tiscali).
