Santuario Nuragico di Santa Cristina, Paulilatino (OR)

The Nuraghe and the surrounding village are part of the archaeological site of the Church and Holy Well of Santa Cristina, creating a place of significant cultural importance in the area.

The single-tower Nuraghe sits in a lovely wood. It is surrounded by a village of huts dating from the Nuragic era and can easily be spotted amidst the trees. Two elongated structures were built at a later date in the village, while the ongoing inhabitation of the area is clear from a Byzantine casket tomb, built near the entrance to the Nuraghe.

Follow the trunk road SS 131 from Paulilatino for around 4 km. Turn right here at the exit for the compound marked with signs. Follow the road and you’ll come to the site.
