The Tre Monti Beach can be found in Baja Sardinia, in the municipality of Arzachena, in Northern Sardinia. More precisely, the beach is located on the eastern side of the outlet at the Golfo di Arzachena.
The name of the beach derives from the Tre Monti peak (64 m a.s.l.), a low hillside with rocks from the granite formation of Gallura, dating back to the Palaeozoic era.
The same beach is enclosed between the granite rocks which emerge at either end. The sandy shores of fine clear sand, extends for around 140 metres, with an average width of around 15 metres.
The seabed is low and mainly sandy with the presence of rocks sticking out in the northern sector. The sea water is transparent and a crystal clear, turquoise blue.
Mediterranean shrub expands around the beach.
