The Bosa Marina beach is a stretch of shoreline near to the town of Bosa, in western Sardinia.
The shoreline stretches for about 1 kilometre and is protected against dominant winds in the area. The shoreline has golden mid-fine grain sand with low, greenish trachyte rocks.
The beach can be reached easily and is well equipped with bathing facilities and eating areas.
The shoreline extends south of the tourist port, closed in by a trachyte jetty linking dry land with Isola Rossa, home to an Aragonese tower.
The island is surrounded by red granite reefs and was connected to dry land with a natural ayre, until 1935, when a stone bridge and the jetty were built.
From the port you can continue into the mouth of the river Temo, running through the town. The navigable stretch of the river extends for around 6 kilometres inland. The river flows for quite a distance, starting from the plateau of Villanova Monteleone and emerging into the fluvial port of Bosa Marina, through trachytes and basalts.
