The well of Giriadroxiu can be found in Medau Giriadroxiu, Nuxis, in the province of Sud Sardegna.

This is a series of rapid, waterfalls and wells, excavated by the water from the Rio Mannu in the pink granite rocks, typical of this part of Sardinia.
The landscape is immersed in a forest of oak trees and Mediterranean shrub in the forest of Gutturu Mannu and Monte Arcosu.

The area is accessible along a trekking path and requires a minimum amount of equipment and preparation for the hike.

Giriadroxiu is part of the Sites of Community Importance (SCI) “Foresta di Monte Arcosu” (ITB041105), regulated by the Rete Natura 2000.
