The municipal park of Zuradili can be found in the district of Marrubiu, in the province of Oristano and is part of the Monte Arci Natural Park.

The green area, made up mostly of pine, eucalyptus and holm oak trees and Mediterranean shrub bushes, lies on the western slopes of the Monte Arci massif.
The area has wooden and stone tables, water points, kids’ play area and there is also a kiosk and restaurant.

A number of different nature trails of varying length and difficulty start from here, and continue as far as Monte Arci. The paths aim to provide people with a knowledge of the lake’s flora and fauna, as well as its history.
The remains of flint stones for coal can be found here and the isolated stone shelters, where the coalmen who came to the island in the early 1900s sought refuge.

Alongside the park sits the small rural church of the Madonna di Zuradili (or Zuarbara). This church was a place of worship for the small village inhabited until 1680 and later abandoned due to famine and the plague.

The agrarian festival is held in the month of May with a procession of devotees, preceded by tractors decorated for the festival and harnessed horses accompanying the procession from Marrubiu as far as the church. The feast of the Madonna di Zuradili lasts for three days and is held in the church’s courtyard and park.
