The Monte Turno cove lies in the coastal area of Castiadas, to the south-east of Sardinia, in the province of Sud-Sardegna.
The beach extends for approx. 300 metres, south of the Monte Turno promontory (56 m a.s.l.) and north of the Cala Sinzias beach, from which it is separated by a small promontory.
This small cove offers a whole series of alternating colours that contrast with one another: sky blue and turquoise crystalline waters, the sparkling grey of the granite rocks, interspersed with rows of dark volcanic rock, and the fine white sand of the shoreline. The seabed is sandy and gets deep almost immediately.
A small dune belt can be found behind where herbaceous plants with multi-coloured flowers grow. Around the cove, as well as the dune and its promontories, shrub and garigue with Mastic tree and juniper flourish.
During the summer months, the beach is equipped with a kiosk and eating area as well as swimming facilities.
