The ancient residence sits in the historical town centre overlooking a square, slightly lower down compared to current-day street level.
It was built between the XVI and XVII centuries; it extends across one floor split into two buildings wrapping around an internal courtyard. The main building is pre-empted by a portico overlooking a square rather than the internal courtyard.
The residence mitigates the features of a traditional home in the area with those from the Late- Gothic Spanish repertoire. The main decorations concentrate on the columns supporting the portico and the decorated stone on the windows and front door.
Following restoration work, the old residence was used as an exhibition space, cultural centre and library.
