The rural church of San Leonardo di Silonis is located in the municipality of Luras. The building, possibly of Medieval origins, underwent numerous changes over the centuries which gave it the typical appearance of rural churches in Gallura.
Built with exposed granite ashlars, it has a gabled facade with a bell gable and buttresses on the sides. It has a rectangular internal layout split into three spans of granite arches, terracotta flooring and ceiling with Sardinian tiles on an exposed wooden warping.
You can admire the magnificent surrounding countryside from the church and enjoy an excellent view of the natural “Pulchiana” monument.
