The ancient Romanesque church can be found in the old town centre, a short distance from the sixteenth-century parish church dedicated to San Giovanni Battista (St. John the Baptist).
The original layout from the XIII century with single apse hall was later added to with a second apse nave which was narrower than the original one. This expansion was what led to the facade’s asymmetrical appearance which is unique with half-pilaster transoms and crowned with a line of suspended arches; a bell gable with double arches completes the gabled facade. Two quadrangular portals open out in the central transom and in the side one to the left which introduce the two naves; the central one is completed with rounded arch lunette and there is a large glass monophora at the top.
Inside it features arches on pillars and is covered with wooden trusses; it is a sober interior with wooden sculptures of Christ the Redeemer, Sant’Efisio and San Pietro decorated in estofado de oro.
