To the west, it marks the border between the <strong>Municipality of Meilogu<\/strong> and the towns of <strong>Bosa<\/strong> and <strong>Montresta<\/strong>, as well as the border between the province of <strong>Sassari<\/strong> and <strong>Oristano<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The river is a tributary of the <strong>river Temo<\/strong> which starts on the <strong>Monte Calarighe<\/strong>, in the municipality <strong>of Villanova Monteleone<\/strong>, and flows into <strong>Bosa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<header class=\"entry_intro\">The rio <strong>Su Entale<\/strong> canyon (also known as &#8220;<strong>Sa Entale<\/strong>&#8221; or &#8220;<strong>Istrampu de sa Entale<\/strong>&#8220;), carved out of <strong>volcanic rock<\/strong>, originating from the splendid <strong>waterfall<\/strong> known as \u201c<strong>Santale<\/strong>\u201d. The first waterfall is known as \u201c<strong>S\u2019istrampu nieddu<\/strong>\u201d and the second one as \u201c<strong>Su poggiu \u2018e caddu muzzu<\/strong>\u201d. The gorge has very deep sheer-drop walls and a width of more than two kilometres.\u00a0<\/header>\n<header class=\"entry_intro\">\n<div><\/div>\n<div id=\"advHook\">The narrow fluvial gorge is accessible along trekking paths, which can be admired from the ancient <strong>Sa Entale bridge<\/strong> on the Montresta-Padria road. To reach the gorge from here, take the cart track through a <strong>forest of holm oak<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>downy oak<\/strong>\u00a0until you reach the\u00a0<strong>Sos Aspros<\/strong> plateau, a panoramic spot where you can visit an ancient shepherd\u2019s village.
