There is a <strong>large courtyard<\/strong> inside the fortress. The tholos in the lower room of the fortified tower is still intact, even if full of rubble and inaccessible. The second room, connected to the lower one via a raised stairwell, stands out. The remains of a turreted <strong>defence wall<\/strong> and village bells can be seen around the fortress. The crumbled Nuraghe material includes <strong>unusually shaped ashlars<\/strong> complete with cavities and edges to insert <strong>securing lead staples<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The Nuraghe lies at 2.5 km from the town of Scano di Montiferro, along the SP 21 towards Sagama.
