{"id":30115,"date":"2023-09-26T09:55:36","date_gmt":"2023-09-26T07:55:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/idese.cultura.gov.it\/place\/domus-de-janas-funtana-pudida-tomb-of-the-ram\/"},"modified":"2023-09-26T09:55:36","modified_gmt":"2023-09-26T07:55:36","slug":"domus-de-janas-funtana-pudida-tomb-of-the-ram","status":"publish","type":"place","link":"https:\/\/idese.cultura.gov.it\/en\/place\/domus-de-janas-funtana-pudida-tomb-of-the-ram\/","title":{"rendered":"Domus de janas &#8220;Funtana Pudida&#8221; (tomb of the ram)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The \u201cConchedda de Funtana P\u00f9dida\u201d, better known as the <strong>ram tomb<\/strong> due to the presence of a symbol carved into the wall, interpreted as a ram protome, can be found immersed in a pleasant green landscape in <strong>Perfugas<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The grave,<em>\u00a0<\/em>carved into a rocky trachyte crop, is one of the most important examples of <strong>a mixture of<\/strong> domus de janas type hypogeum and megalithism. Indeed, it has a <strong>hypogeum<\/strong> part, made up of four cells, and one<strong> megalithic one<\/strong> with a short Dolmen corridor. Three orthostates have survived on the sides of the entrance as well as a slab flooring.<\/p>\n<p>An archaeological dig in 1979 revealed an initial use of the tomb during the<strong> Ozieri phase<\/strong>.
