{"id":30094,"date":"2023-09-26T09:55:30","date_gmt":"2023-09-26T07:55:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/idese.cultura.gov.it\/place\/domus-de-janas-santeneittu\/"},"modified":"2023-09-26T09:55:30","modified_gmt":"2023-09-26T07:55:30","slug":"domus-de-janas-santeneittu","status":"publish","type":"place","link":"https:\/\/idese.cultura.gov.it\/en\/place\/domus-de-janas-santeneittu\/","title":{"rendered":"Domus De Janas Sant&#8217;eneittu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A <strong>prehistoric necropolis<\/strong> was built on a rocky outcrop on the edges of the modern part of Villanova Monteleone.<\/p>\n<p>It has <strong>two complete Domus de Janas<\/strong>, and traces of another <strong>two<\/strong>, whose construction was perhaps interrupted for unknown reasons.<br \/>\nThe larger tomb has a small <strong>entrance door<\/strong>, like a lot of these tombs. On entering, you come to an <strong>anti-cell<\/strong> which acts as a vestibule, onto which open out <strong>two cells<\/strong> for the collective depositions.<br \/>\nThe other simpler tomb is currently surrounded by the wall of an abandoned sheep pen.
