Also worth mentioning is<strong> the XVI tomb<\/strong>, known as &#8220;Sa Presone&#8221; due to the present of a <strong>raised fireplace<\/strong> and walls punctuated with conspicuous bands.<\/p>\n<p>In Roman times, the place was used for local agricultural work, establishing <strong>around forty wine making facilities<\/strong> on the rock. In the Middle Ages, it went back to its original use with <strong>five tombs<\/strong> being dug in the upper part of the limestone shelf.<\/p>\n<p>At the Cheremule exit, heading south east (direction trunk road SS131) and carry on for 2.7 km turning right at the first tourist road sign for the archaeological sites. Continue along an unpaved road passable as far as the junction (with tourist road sign) and take the fork on the right towards the domus de janas necropolis of Museddu. Continue for around 500 m as far as a white road on the left, cordoned off by low walls and inaccessible to vehicles, marked with a tourist road sign.
