{"id":29944,"date":"2023-08-30T12:17:57","date_gmt":"2023-08-30T10:17:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/idese.cultura.gov.it\/place\/bassa-trinita-cala-maiore\/"},"modified":"2023-08-30T12:17:57","modified_gmt":"2023-08-30T10:17:57","slug":"bassa-trinita-cala-maiore","status":"publish","type":"place","link":"https:\/\/idese.cultura.gov.it\/en\/place\/bassa-trinita-cala-maiore\/","title":{"rendered":"Bassa Trinita &#8211; Cala Maiore"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Bassa Trinita beach<\/strong>, also known as <strong>Cala Maiore<\/strong>, sits on the <strong>north-western coast<\/strong> of the <strong>Isola di La Maddalena<\/strong>, in the <strong>archipelago<\/strong> of the same name, to the north of <strong>Sardinia<\/strong>, in the area of the <strong>Strait of Bonifacio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>beach<\/strong> extends for about<strong>200 metres<\/strong>, exposed to the <strong>Mistral and Ponente winds<\/strong>, with an extensive <strong>dune system<\/strong> behind it.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>shoreline<\/strong> has a <strong>fine-grain<\/strong>, grey <strong>sand<\/strong>, interspersed with <strong>reefs of beige and pink granite rock<\/strong>.
