{"id":29645,"date":"2023-08-03T11:50:48","date_gmt":"2023-08-03T09:50:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/idese.cultura.gov.it\/place\/foresta-di-addoli\/"},"modified":"2023-11-08T10:04:36","modified_gmt":"2023-11-08T09:04:36","slug":"foresta-di-addoli","status":"publish","type":"place","link":"https:\/\/idese.cultura.gov.it\/en\/place\/foresta-di-addoli\/","title":{"rendered":"Foresta di Addol\u00ec"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Forest of Addol\u00ec<\/strong> lies between the areas of <strong>Seulo<\/strong> and <strong>Sadali<\/strong>, in the province of <strong>Nuoro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This is a <strong>vast woodland area<\/strong>, abundant in <strong>rivers<\/strong> and <strong>waterfalls<\/strong>, with <strong>caverns<\/strong>, <strong>valleys<\/strong> and <strong>rock walls<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>geology<\/strong> of the area is characterised by the presence of <strong>dolomite and limestone rock<\/strong>. Due to the nature of these rocks, subject to karstic phenomena, there are a number of caves. The most famous ones, which can be visited, are the <strong>Is Janas cave<\/strong>, in <strong>Sadali <\/strong>and <strong>Domus de Janas<\/strong>, in <strong>Seulo.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <strong>forest<\/strong> consists mainly of <strong>holm oak<\/strong>, <strong>cork<\/strong> and <strong>Mediterranean shrub<\/strong>.
