It is housed in the building where the <strong>Carmelita family<\/strong> once lived. The museum complex rotates around an antique house, arranged over two floors and with a large external gallery.<\/p>\n<p>There are six rooms. The first room on the upper floor introduces the visitor to Senorb\u00ec&#8217;s long <strong>history<\/strong>, told through the artifacts uncovered at a number of sites. The findings cover a long period of time <strong>from the Late Neolithic period to the Middle Ages<\/strong> (<strong>IV-III millennium B.C. \u2013 XIV century<\/strong>). The quality craftsmanship of the stone findings and the splendid ceramic decorations on display, bear witness to the sophisticated lifestyle enjoyed by those who lived in the area, as well as their significant interactions with European regions and the Mediterranean basin.<\/p>\n<p>The second and third room describe events linked to the discovery of the ancient site of <em><strong>Monte Luna<\/strong>. <\/em><strong>Between the V and III centuries B.C.<\/strong>, the inhabitants of the nearby hillside of <strong><em>Santu Teru<\/em><\/strong> were buried in this <strong>necropolis.<\/strong> <strong>Ornamental objects<\/strong> can be identified which typically accompanied the laying to rest of the dead: numerous gold, silver, bronze and iron necklaces, chains, beetles, talismans produced in diaspore, ivory, glass and glass paste. The third room houses an exceptional inscription dating to<strong> the I century A.D<\/strong>.
