The <strong>red boulders<\/strong> rest on the backdrop of the white rocks, giving the coast a unique and charming appearance.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>granite porphyry<\/strong> of the rocks was re-modelled by atmospheric agents down through the centuries. This process gave the <strong>cliffs<\/strong> a characteristic aspect, which brings to mind the imposing shape of the peaks of a Gothic cathedral. A <strong>natural monument<\/strong> which seems to stand out against the blue of the sky. Their reflection gives the water a colour ranging from emerald green to crystal blue.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, this charming bay, acted as a stage for the final scene in the film &#8220;<strong>Travolti da un insolito destino nell&#8217;azzurro mare d&#8217;agosto<\/strong>&#8221; by <strong>Lina Wertmu\u0308ller<\/strong> (1974).<\/p>\n<p>Every summer, the fishing village of Arbatax becomes an arena for charming and very traditional cultural events.
